These Easy Veggie Crescent Rolls are flaky, cheesy and full of healthy vegetables. It’s the simple, kid-friendly lunch option you’ve been searching for!
Does anyone else get in a rut when feeding their kids, or is it just me? I feel like I am always reaching for the same old thing. It’s a constant rotation of the same old turkey dogs, chicken, pasta, or turkey wraps.
Recently, I decided to make these Veggie Crescent Rolls. The recipe came about mainly due to the fact that my husband was out of town and I wasn’t in the mood to go to the store. So I had to use what ingredients I had in the house. Luckily it only has 3!
These bad boys turned out to be my kids new favorite lunch. They devoured them!
This is one of the easiest recipes I have. Which is why it’s perfect for busy parents and hungry kids!
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO I NEED?
- 1 can crescent roll dough
- 1 15 oz can mixed vegetables- no salt added
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
HOW DO I MAKE EASY VEGGIE CRESCENT ROLLS?
Open 1 can of crescent rolls and separate the triangles. Open and drain one 15 oz can of mixed vegetables. (I choose the low sodium or no salt added version).
Spoon a small amount of the mixed veggies onto the crescent roll dough, top with a sprinkle of shredded mozzarella cheese, then roll it up. Repeat with the remaining triangles.
Bake according to the crescent roll packaging. Easy as that!
Stop stressing over lunch ideas. Make a double batch of these hand-held, healthy Veggie Crescent Rolls and freeze some for a later day.
