Sometimes after a long day all you want to do is sit back, relax and read a book. The last thing on your mind is spending hours in the kitchen cooking dinner. Dinner doesnt have to be a chore, and you dont have to spend hours in the kitchen to make a delicious meal. Here are some meal ideas that are quick and easy but are also sure to be filling. The best part, these meals are also cheap!
Chargrilled Chicken and Rigatoni
Prep Time: 30 minutes
You will need:
- Chicken Breasts (https://www.kroger.com/p/ledbetter-chargrilled-seasoned-chicken-breast-2-count/0005399785029)
- Rigatoni Pasta (Whole grain)
- Prego Sauce (Meat Sauce)
Cook chicken breast for 15 minutes on medium heat; flipping the chicken to cook evenly. You will not need oil for the chicken linked above.
Cook Rigatoni on medium high for 15 minutes (8 minutes for al dente). Drain pasta in strainer and rinse off with hot water.
Pour in meat sauce and heat on medium low heat for 2 minutes.
Cut chicken into strips and combine with the pasta.

Basil Pesto Chicken and Brown Rice
Prep Time: 20 minutes
You will need:
- Basil Pesto Chicken (https://www.kroger.com/p/ledbetter-basil-pesto-seasoned-chicken-breast-2-count/0005399785027)
- Instant Brown Rice: (https://www.walmart.com/ip/3-Pack-UNCLE-BEN-S-Ready-Rice-Whole-Grain-Brown-8-8oz/891569320)
Cook chicken same as above: Cook chicken breast for 15 minutes on medium heat; flipping the chicken to cook evenly. (You will not need oil for this chicken as well).
Cook rice in microwave for 90 seconds, pour into large bowl (be careful it will be hot) and break the rice up with a fork.
Cut chicken into strips and combine with rice.
Grab your fork and enjoy!
