The Wilson Cocktails & Seafood at The Melia Orlando Hotel Celebration is a new restaurant recently opened in Orlando featuring Northeastern coastal cuisine with global influences and seasonally inspired cocktails.

Make your way down to this place ASAP for their fantastic Lobster BLT and rigatoni Bolognese as well as their exceptional weekly burger and seafood and fish specials. Perfect for brunch as well.

In Good Company Hospitality (IGC), the New York-based restaurant group that oversees several venues across Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens, recently opened their newest restaurant, The Wilson Orlando, a second location of The Wilson concept.

Located on the grounds of The Meliá Orlando hotel, The Wilson at Meliá Orlando Celebration focuses on its “where the coast meets the curb” approach to the menu. Led by Executive Chef Nicolas Mut, fresh, seasonal ingredients from local farmers and purveyors highlight the modern and playful interpretations of New American classics, centered on celebrating classic seafood dishes.

Executive Chef Nicholas Mut

Executive Chef Nicolas Mut has been in the industry his entire life, having grown up in the restaurant his family owned, and starting his professional culinary career in Mexico with Anderson’s Group.

His culinary career brought him to the United States in 1999. Since then, he has lived in five states and all over Florida, following opportunities that have allowed him to pursue his passion for food. He has even had the opportunity to cook for three Presidents and many international dignitaries. His favorite part of being a chef is getting to be a part of his guests’ most special days.

We spoke with the team at The Wilson to find out more about the new restaurant and upcoming plans and got a sneak peek at the fantastic menu available now at The Wilson.
